Day 6

Jan 07

So today I have been thinking about the last weeks food and it’s clear to see that alcohol plays a big part here although I don’t usually drink in the week and am just getting rid of everything left over from Xmas, with that being said I work it out to be over 3000 Calories which would have made a big difference on the week although today weighing in at 18st 10lb means I have lost another 1lb and a total of 6lb this week.

My fat percentage is down to 44% which I think was 46% when I started so that is definitely progress.

My mood today is very positive and I am sure I can lose another pound before my 1st weeks registered weigh in on Monday which would put me at half a stone for a week, fantastic I think, just need to get on with exercising and I should be able to continue the loss.

Day 5

Jan 06

In a positive mood today even though I weighed in at 18st 11lb which is the same as yesterday. I kind of knew if I had lost 5 lb in a few days that it would have to plateu and with the added snack I had yesterday this was bound to happen (the culprit was probably the fudge which is about 10 spoons of sugar haha). It could also have been not eating until 11:30, I know you have to kick start your body with breakfast and that meant I lost 4 hours of good metabolic magic.

However, with that being said I am looking forward to the weekend and we don’t have much cash which means the temptation to go eat out is beyond our budget and this can only help my progress.

I will be calling the gym today to see if my membership still exists and if it does then I’ll be using their running machines instead of my home one.

Thanks

Day 4

Jan 05

Hello again,

Today I am very motivated as I stepped onto the scales to reveal a massive 3lb weight loss putting me at 18st 11lb, whilst this may fluctuate slightly tomorrow (again I expect to maintain or put on a little) it still represents 5lb loss and that is great news at the moment.

I have been looking at events to take part in and whilst I would like to start with a 5KM I have found a 10KM in Leicester on April 1st which may be a little to ambitious given that it gives me 12 weeks on Sunday to train for it, I know this can be done but at the moment I would struggle to run 1KM.

Do I commit to this and train, it would certainly help me reach my weight loss goals, or is this one goal too far?

Update – I have found a 5KM in Stratford on March 3rd which would be a great primer to see if I can cope at this kind of event

Just did 10mins on the treadmill at home and whilst it isn’t the best way to train (the treadmill is not very good) it wasnt so bad, I am knackered and I think I need to use the gym Treadmills if I am going to get anywhere.

Day 3

Jan 04

OK so today I finally had some progress and am now 19st 1lb and 46%F so that’s -2lb. This has not only given me a great boost  but also set me in a great mood for the day, I know I said weighing everyday wouldn’t make me negative but on the flipside the positive boost certainly helps, with a loss like that I would expect to maintain or even gain slightly tomorrow due to fluctuations, however, we will see.

It is Wednesday and I have three more days at work to focus as it is more difficult at home with all the christmas food etc lying around. So far so good though :)

Another thing that helped me was installing Skype last night, it went to take a picture of me and I saw the several chins I have at the mo’ there’s a pic from about 7 years ago where I was ~14st 10lb or along those lines and my face is very defined in comparison. Yes I know, I was 21 so I am bound to look different but its definition I am referring to and not age :)

Thanks
